The Dunedin Ice Stadium is located at 101 Victoria Road in St Kilda, a short 10 minute drive from the centre of town!
If you are coming by public transport, we now have a bus stop right outside the rink with direct link to the Octagon. Just catch Bus 44 or 55 to St Kilda, and hop off at Victoria Road. Visit the Otago Regional Council website here for more infomation on times and fares.
TIP: show us your bus ticket on arrival and you will get 50% of your admission fee to any day session!
While it may not be cold outside, enjoying the ice comes with a chilly environment. We recommend wearing a few layers even though you will likely warm up once you start skating.

Not been skating before or unsure of yourself on the ice? We have you covered with our free 20-minute skating lessons to get started! Yes, that’s right, FREE! All you need to do is pay for your general admission to our weekend skating sessions.

If you have children who want to skate but you aren’t keen to get on the ice yourself? Not to worry, we are always monitoring what is happening on the ice to ensure everyone’s safety! However, we do recommend that children under the age of six should be accompanied by either a parent, or an older child.
If you aren’t skating or just need a break, stay warm and relax in our lounge where you can watch your kids skate and enjoy our free complimentary Wi-Fi. Our snack bar is also serving hot food, snacks and a large range of hot and cold drinks!
Please note, no external food or drink (except water) can be brought into the venue unless by prior arrangement.
