Driving 

The Dunedin Ice Stadium is located at 101 Victoria Road in St Kilda, a short 10-minute drive from the center of town with free parking on site!

Public Transport

There is also a bus stop right outside the rink with a direct link to the Octagon. Catch busses 44 or 55 to St Kilda.

Unsurprisingly it is a little chill inside! We recommend wearing a few layers even though you will likely warm up once you start skating.

The most important items are:

• A jacket or warm jumper
• A beanie and gloves to keep your head and hands warm
• Long, thick socks to make your skates nice and comfy

To make your life easier, we have all the equipment you will need to get going:

• Skate sizes ranging from children’s size 8 to adult size 13 in both figure and hockey skate styles
• Helmets free for hire with skates for those starting out (highly recommended)
• We also have a sleuth of polar bear skate aids to hire to help those young ones build their confidence! Bears are a $5 hire fee. You can find these at skate hire, Limited availability so unfortunately we cannot guarantee there will be a bear available!

For those not keen on getting on the ice you can stay warm and relax in our lounge where you can watch your kids skate and enjoy our free complimentary Wi-Fi. Our Cafe also serves hot food, snacks, and a large range of hot and cold drinks!
